Fenris Friday, Fenny Barks About The Adventure

OK, now it is my turn to bark about our Adventure on the Possum Walk portion of the Heritage Trail.  We parked at the Logtown Cemetery, we only walked a portion of the trail. We walked a total of 7 miles, but we turned around and came back when we were at the half way point. Mommy said she couldn't visualize us walking 14 miles. I probably agree with her, we got pretty tired.

This is the kayak launch. Mommy would LOVE to go kayaking here one day.

This bridge goes over the kayak launch place.

I have to admit it does look peaceful here.

The bridge was nice and sturdy.

There were lots of neat signs along the way explaining things. Mommy apologizes the pictures aren't better she muttered something about one handed, Fenris pulling.................... to excuse her poor photography skills.

Pine Plantations seemed to have been a thing here once upon a time.

I kept wanting to go off trail, but the Mom kept saying NO.

But the trail was full of interesting smells that I wanted to follow.

There were pretty flowers too. And nice employees of the Infinity Space Center rode by on a golf cart a few times, they stopped to talk to us and tell us how purrty Tuiren and I were. That would be a fun job to have when the weather was nice.

After we walked the Trail, Mom spied the Pearl River and we walked down to it. Mommy was enchanted by this Spring, that was close to it.

There was a boat launch here so I walked in the Pearl River a little to cool off.

Mommy liked it so much that we drove the car down here to eat lunch. ~Fenris, reporting for ATCAD

That sounds like a great place to go for a walk. It was no surprise that those people would stop to say how beautiful both you and Tuiren were. We bet you will have more adventures here too.
