Fenris Friday

This has been the wettest summer ever. Daddy hasn't even been able to cut all the grass as it is too soggy in some areas. He did manage to cut most of the backyard.

And a few weekends ago he took the Mom kayaking on the flooded Escatawpa River on the section that is close to Eldest Boys house. They went to visit him and his family afterwards.

It's way too HOT I spend most of my time indoors.

Thank Dog for A/C, I don't know what doggies did before it was invented.

Mommy says I should let everyone know that we survived Hurricane Harvey. It did cause a tornado close to where we live, but didn't do any damage that we know of  up in Latimer. We did get lots of wind and rain from it, but it had been downgraded to a TS by the time it reached us in Mississippi. We have our paws crossed for all the humans and animals in Texas, and are sending good thoughts to them and to the people that have gone to Texas to help them.

In happier news

Mommy finally posted about the owls at the Pascagoula River Audubon Center on her blog. ~Fenris, reporting for ATCAD

Oh, mama LOVES owls. She had a friend who had two miniature owls and they went everywhere with him on his shoulders!!! Better than dragons in G of T!

What a horrible situation in Texas, and it's good to hear that you all were side-stepped by most of the storm. Owls are so COOL!

Thank goodness you were just wet and windy from Harvey. We hope the victims all get their lives back to normal real soon. We think they are so brave.

Love and licks,
Cupcake

Glad you were out of the path of Harvey's fury.
We here also do not know what we would do without any AC. Prolly sit in front of a fan over a pan of ice cubes, BOL!

Those owls are wonderful. We can hear owls outside here, sometimes. Petcretary called pawppy outside one evening to listen to them hooting away:) We have no idea what kind they are though.

We're glad to hear you didn't have any trouble from Harvey at your house. Without AC in our house we wouldn't be very happy either.
