Flowers on Friday

The Cuphea it is a lot taller now and doing GREAT.

Whirling Butterflies, you can't even see it now the Goldenrod has taken over the bed.

Amaryllis

Another Whirling Butterfly, this one is PINK. Pink is Yin's favorite color, although she is pretty fond of red too and looks stunning laying on both with her black furs.

This rose not only looks stunning it smells good too.

Our Grancy Graybeard, this may be the last time you see it. It did not seem to like the too much rain and it looks dead.

Lantana, Mommy got the flowerbed weeded last weekend and put some fertilizer on it so maybe it will look like this again. Didn't it look nice blooming?  Right now it is a  mess.

The Charybdis bed.

The Quince, it isn't doing very well either.

And last but not least Swamp Irises. ~ATCAD

Your flowers look great. We hope the rain didn't kill too many of them.

Some plants for sure do not like those wet feet from too much rain. Maybe they might still have a remnant of life left in them. Can you dig them up and let them be in a drier spot? Or make cuttings?

Now that it has stopped raining (sigh) it is almost too dry we will have to see if they come back next year. When we were getting so much rain it was to wet to dig them up and there wasn't anywhere drier to move them. I think it is too late for cuttings there isn't anything that look remotely alive on them. Possibly they will come up from the roots next spring.
