Today is such a big day around blogville everyone is Remembering the Rescue, not just of their own pets but of all the cats, dogs and various other animals in shelters and foster homes waiting to find a forever family. We are very sad that not all the animals searching for homes find them and that some perfectly healthy animals are destroyed in shelters. We are all rescues here. Mommy found Fenris on
Petfinder.com. When we were looking for a doggie we posted
The Purrfect Doggie For Us telling what we were looking for. Fenris meet out requirements to a T.

As you can see he has changed a LOT.

Socks and Chimera both came from Grandma and Grandpa's house. Most of you probably remember Chimera's story but if you don't remember you can read

We sure are glad Daddy found her and while she is still a tiny thing she if full of fun.
Socks' story isn't as scary as Chimera's but you can
read it here along with Arty Mouses'. We still miss Socks and Arty Mouse a lot.
Scylla and Charybdis came to us as bottle babies. Mommy and Daddy are foster failures. You can
read their story here. Sadly Charybdis is no longer with us, but Scylla is thrilled with the addition of the kittens.
And she still loves to play in the Jungle Gym.
Yin and Yang were also bottle babies that we were just fostering.
"PINK PAWZ Spay & Neuter" is helping to spay and neuter the feral cat colony they came from. Socks tells how Yin and Yang came to live with us here.
Didn't they grow up nicely.
We hope if you are considering adopting a cat or dog you will be motivated to do so. They will give you a lifetime of love and there are so very many cats and dogs that need forever homes, we just know you will find the purrfect pet if you look, so please GO LOOK FOR YOUR BEST FRIEND TODAY. ~ATCAD

All of your pets are adorable and it is wonderful that you were able to rescue them. That baby pic of Fenris is the cutest thing I've seen all day!
I am glad you were all rescued by a loving family, I wish all were so lucky. Thank you for the words of comfort you left on my blog for the loss of Phoebe. XO
We had not rescued before, but now our latest addition is a rescue. Dalton comes from Texas, a hurricane rescue, and he sure has some issues...a lot of work needed to get him to trust...esp with pawppy.
