Friendly Friday with Chimera

Hello everyone, I am going to do a book report for you today. Way back in May (I apologize for Mommy's tardiness in helping us post) we won this great book @ Cat Chat with Caren and Cody.

It was wrapped in this cute and cheerful paper.

The Title of the Book is Being Brave for Bailey and it is about a dog named Bailey and his very brave girl. When Bailey gets sick and there is nothing that can be done to make him better she makes the very brave and loving decision to let him go so he will not have to suffer. It is beautifully illustrated. and I highly recommend it for anyone with young children who are having to make this hard choice for a beloved pet.

And since I don't want to leave my post on a sad note I have added this cheerful bloom from the Trumpet Vine to brighten your day. ~Chimera, reporting for ATCAD

Those are always such sad moments but they are very important, and that book will help a lot of youngsters.

Such a difficult topic for a book, but it is good someone writes about it to help young bipeds understand that helping a loved pet begin their journey over The Bridge can be kinder than keeping them close. Good job Chimera

Children cope with loss in such different ways that adults; some guidance is always helpful.

That sounds sad, but I am sure it is helpful to children.

What a great idea to have that book help little people understand such a difficult decision. You look very content snoozing on the windowsill.
