Flowers on Friday

We have some stunning roses for you today. April is the best month for our roses. Daddy created the Hummingbird Cottage just for them. This is the Sniffie Rose and it only blooms once a year.

These are old fashioned heirloom roses and Mommy's favorites they start off white and will gradually turn pink, sometimes the white roses will have pink spots on them or be variegated, they always look and smell interesting.

See the ones that are getting ready to bloom and are already pinkish, they will turn a darker pink, it's really neat how they have different colors on one bush.

And the roof of the Hummingbird cottage looks just gorgeous with the roses blooming on it.

Sadly we haven't been out in the yard much lately the ground is just too wet. ~ATCAD

OH, kudos for your cottage and lovely roses. Mama LOVES roses and we have an old red one, too, a climber, but no one knows the name and it blooms at least twice a year, once in spring and once in summer again.

We love your roses. Too bad nobody had invented smell-o-vision so we could sniff their sweet scent.

Roses are so beautiful! As a kid, my mother had a rose-bush for each child, so there were six of them! All had different color blooms, and it was a neat way to make each of us feel special.

We love your roses, especially the white to pink ones. WE used to have pretty roses, but Mom gave up the battle with those pesky Japanese beetles.
