Mom says it looks as if I am scowling, I am not really the sun is in my eyes.
Mom and Dad have been peeling the wallpaper off the walls in the hall, so I think a new remodeling project is underway.
Fenris is keeping watch for intruders.
He is a very good watch dog.
He says we are only suppose to bark at strange people who come in our yard, not wild animals unless they will hurt the people.
He saved Mom from a poisonous snake once. Mom says she doesn't know how he knew it was there, but there was a moccasin curled up on the step (this is before we had the porch and there was just a patio back there with steps where the back doors are) by the laundry room door. Fenris refused to let Mom out the door and he was growling at the door, Mom couldn't see anything but she knew there had to be a reason Fenny wouldn't let her outside so she went out the Front Door and walked around and she saw the snake. Fenny had already told eldest boy about it (it was so long ago he still lived here and I didn't live here yet) and he had gone to get something to kill it. (We don't usually kill snakes as Mom says most of them are good, but we do kill the ones that will kill us especially if they are close to the house). It's a good thing Fenris wouldn't let her or eldest out the back door. They would have stepped on it and it would have bitten them and probably killed them. Especially as Mom was BAREFOOT, Mom is most always BAREFOOT at home. ~Tuiren, reporting for ATCAD

Fenris ... what kind of watch do you wear? I think I need to get one ... my humans think I do not do a very good job with the "watching" stuff.

Humans are so clueless...they MUST have dogs around to keep them safe!
Without you precious pups we humans wouldn't last long. Thank you for making sure we're safe.
Have a woof woof day. My best to your barefoot mom. ♥
Fenris, you are such a pawsome watchdog. Always on the lookout for intruders. We have no sun today but all the heat and humidity is gone. So we are happy about that. Thanks for the share. Have a fun day.

You two are both looking great today. We all squint in the sun. Fenris is so brave and smart. We're glad we don't have any poisonous snakes around here.
Wow, what a good dog Fenris is! You are all lucky to have him looking out for you. ♥
