Canadian Geese

In April the Canadian Geese were at our pond and they had 6 goslings.

We haven't been down to the pond in awhile Mom saw 3 giant snakes down there and scared her self silly.

The White roses were blooming on top of the Hummingbird Cottage.

I was outside in the yard last night, and I don't know who was more surprised; me, or the skunk! I didn't scare myself silly, but I surely backed away in a freakin' hurry!!!!

We have a subdivision in our area that has a huge pond as its centerpiece. The geese took it over and it's so fun to drive by and see all of them doing what geese do.

Have a fabulous day. Scritches to the kitties. ♥

It is nice to see the baby goslings, but those geese leave lots of messy poop on the sidewalks - Mom gets mad when we try to sniff it.

ONE big snake would send the Momster running, never mind three.

We live on the river and we get SO many geese here now. They’re fun to watch but they are so noisy and messy.

We love the geese here, too. But yeah, they do make a big mess!

How cute those goslings are. Our mom agrees that she would stay away if there were snakes.

The snakes would be enough to keep Mom Paula away!

We have 4 hummers, 2 males 2 females. We think they nest in a cedar tree out back, so we never go there. TBT says we should let them be in peace so there are more.

We can't catch them anyway, so we agree.

We get snakes here in our yard at times, too...petcretary has to rescue them from the hooligans who would try to kill them...the prettiest snake we have seen here is a blue racer, we once saw a huge black racer, but mostly we only see garden snakes of various sises.
