Flowers on Friday

This Spring Mom got all industrious and cleaned the seats on the lounge in the Hummingbird Cottage.

Along with planting some new flowers in the front flower bed (the one facing the pond).

Alas now we can't use the cottage because one of the beams broke and is laying on top of the lounge we are waiting for Daddy to have the time and help he needs to remove it safely. We think it got hit by lightening.

Mexican Petunia.

Cape Honeysuckle

Our cushions freshly laundered. Mom turned them to the reverse side so they wouldn't be so faded.

And the Coral Honeysuckle we just love it, it's a native plant so it's pretty much thrives with Mom neglecting it. We wish we could have gotten a better picture of it but it's way over our head. ~ATCAD

PeeS: Fenris would like to ask for some healing purrs and POTP he has hotspots on his inner thighs and private areas. He had to get shaved and have the area cleaned and of course he is on antibiotics (to prevent infection) and a steroid to reduce inflammation. Mom says it is already looking better but Fenris disagrees since a very large amount of fur is missing.

It's too bad you can't enjoy the Hummingbird Cottage right now. We have our paws crossed that Fenris feels better soon. Millie is especially worried for him.

OMGoodness, F. That sounds awful. Mom and I said a prayer for you to heal quickly AND for your gorgeous furs to grow back so you can look fabulous again. Get well soon, buddy.

Love and licks,
Cupcake

PS. I'm headed to the vet's house on Monday for surgery to remove a bump from my chest, so I have a feeling I will come home missing some valuable furs, too! Yikes.

We hope Fenris feels all better soon! Luke always gets itchy this time of year, but luckily so far no hot spots; but we have to keep a close eye on it.
