You have to look hard to find the butterfly, it kinda blends in and it was faster than Mom so sometimes it escaped.
You can see it in this picture. It's even in the middle mostly.
Here it is again.
Mom never did manage one with it's wings open.

Those butterflies are tricky to photograph. Our mom can take 100 pictures just to get 1 or 2 good ones. Thank goodness for digital photography.
I have a whole bank of milkweed, but rarely see butterflies! Am hoping that they need to learn that they are there, and many will learn to stop by this year.
