Musings on Monday with Chimera

Mom is trying to get the Asian Jasmine to grow out to the end of the sidewalk. We are very sad that it doesn't bloom here, apparently it doesn't get cold enough.

This is the Coral Bean (April of 2023) it is just started to bloom.

It is a native plant.

We are not sure why this is called tickweed, it's a very pretty flower.

The Confederate Jasmine on the other hand does bloom here and it smells divine.

I don't know why Mom thinks my location is so funny. This is a very good viewing platform while I supervise Mom's gardening. ~Chimera, reporting for ATCAD

We love seeing all your flowers especially this time of year when it's so cold and nothing is blooming. Your perch is perfect if you want to catch a bird, Chimera.

I would have thought Asian Jasmine liked being warm. XO
