Winsome Wednesday

There is a huge frog in Grandpa's pond.

He has turtles in their too. Grant likes to feed bread to the fish but sometimes other things come to eat it.

This is the top picture when Mom added more color. We sort of like the way it looks like a modern painting.

And now for the winsome portion of the post. Mom insisted on taking a picture with me. Don't worry about Mom's fashion accessory she went for her regularly scheduled mammogram.

As you can see I really didn't want to take pictures with her.

Scylla was outside checking on the plants.

She reported the Crinum looks gorgeous with it's blooms open.  Remember no touching it or nibbling on it.

(Selfie) Scylla Sunday

Well I tried to take a selfie but Rosie photo bombed me. ~Fenris

Chimera and Yang went for a ussie.

Yin just yelled at us when we asked about doing a selfie, apparently she was ready for bed.

And Scylla was busy getting a drink before retiring for the night.

She likes to sleep in the cat carrier these day. ~ATCAD

Musings on Monday with Chimera

Mom is trying to get the Asian Jasmine to grow out to the end of the sidewalk. We are very sad that it doesn't bloom here, apparently it doesn't get cold enough.

This is the Coral Bean (April of 2023) it is just started to bloom.

It is a native plant.

We are not sure why this is called tickweed, it's a very pretty flower.

The Confederate Jasmine on the other hand does bloom here and it smells divine.

I don't know why Mom thinks my location is so funny. This is a very good viewing platform while I supervise Mom's gardening. ~Chimera, reporting for ATCAD

Meowy Monday

Mom had a time getting this picture to come out right. Chimera is sitting in the window in bright sunlight and Yin is in the shade. Any pro tips from our photographer friends would be appreciated. Mom said she needed to make Yin brighter and Chimera darker, this was a compromise it's light enough you can see Yin has eyes but it's dark enough that Chimera didn't disappear altogether. This is something you seldom see all four of us together. Chimera was feeling social but as you can see she is still a good distance from the rest of us. But at least she is in the same room we are. Chimera is the type of cat that gives people the idea we are solitary creatures. The rest of us like being together in fact Scylla and Yang are often joined at the hip, as they don't like being alone.

Mom says thank you for all your kind words about Myst, but Grandpa is the one who deserves the credit for taking care of her. And for those of you who are worried about her safety, she is very safe and snug in the shed. The feeding station is right across from Lady O's pen and she is very cat friendly and will warn them if anything that doesn't belong approaches, and the shed is full of tons of things they can get under or on to escape. Grandpa feeds them twice a day once in the morning and once in the evening. They get feed first, well their bowls are right by where the food is stored. Then he feeds Lady O and the chickens and yesterday he saw O'Malley when he feed them breakfast. Mom suspects Marvel may have still been asleep or maybe just waiting for Grandpa to leave. We think they probably all sleep in the shed at night. There are lots of good hiding places in there, Mom even lost Grandpa in there one day, and he wasn't even trying to hide from her.  ~Miss Yin, Scylla, Yang & Chimera reporting for ATCAD

Caturday Art with Chimera, Scylla & Yang

This was the Journal Challenge you had to use the word Daydreaming on your page.

Avatar Challenge and the theme was apples, Mom was able to sneak a butterfly in there albeit one made out of leaves. In case you are wondering the middle circle is Mom's avatar.

Bricolage Challenge.

Color Challenge. Scylla and Yang helped with this one.

Zoo challenge for some reason Benthai picked Cows, really you would have thought he might pick house cats or dogs. Mom is actually pretty fond of cattle but she prefers steers and bulls. Apparently Momma cows get ticked off when you try to pet their calves. Although I am not sure why Mom wanted to pet a calf any way.

And here I am. I am helping out with the mask challenge.

Progressive Challenge. Mom said this was the hardest one she has done in awhile.

And the Scraplift Challenge ~Thanks for coming by to visit us, Chimera reporting for ATCAD

Winsome Wednesday

What do you mean I don't belong on the table??? Your shirt and book bag don't belong on the table either. And FYI I am not on the table I am on your shirt and book bag. ~Chimera

I am the office cat. It is my job to see that ATCAD is published. Mom says I am a decent office manager, except when I dangle over the keyboard and swat her as she types.

Tails on Tuesday

The jungle gym is a fun place to play.

Sometimes you find lizards playing in it too.

I spend a lot of time up here.

Sometimes the grands come play up here.

And today Mom decided to get in on the action. What are you doing down there Mom?

What do you mean I should ignore you, you aren't ignoring ME, you are taking MY picture.

Humans, Mom climbs up here distracting me and Dad leaves pots up here. We have no idea what it is doing in the Jungle Gym, we even asked Mom and she didn't have a clue.

This is Chimera's favorite hang out, she has a morning  workout routine. Go out the back door climb over the fence run as fast as you can for the tree and climb to the top. No wonder she is so skinny, the rest of us get tired just thinking about it. ~Yang, reporting for ATCAD with Chimera
