Sunday Arty Sorta Selfies
For some reason these pictures didn't turn out good. I was mostly a blob so Mom artified them at my request. Mom says I am a good and sweet cat, I let the Grandkids pet me. Vets and Vet Techs on the other hand get the CLAW. I think CK would be proud of me for that. MOL they have me marked as a wild cat on my vet records.
The other cats HIDE when the grandkids are over. So I get all the pets.
Here is a better picture of me getting pets.

Memories on Wednesday
Toward the end I spent a lot of time with Yin. She is a very sweet and gentle cat and she looked after me. She always dozed by me so that if I wanted her she would be close to paw. Just by being with me she provided lots of comfort.
I have entrusted Mommy to her. She always stays close to the Mom and keeps her out of trouble. Sometimes Mommy even mistakes her for me. That's not surprising to me, even though Yin is a lot bigger than I ever was she is most like me personality wise.
Mommy doesn't understand why Yinny hissed at Yang and Chimera when they came back from the vet. She never hissed at me when I returned from the vet, although she was always waiting at the door for my return. The truth is Yinny knew my end was near and did all she could to comfort me. Yang got hissed at because HE shouldn't have been going to the vet, he should have stayed out of the rosebushes and Yin was still a bit upset about my death. Yinny didn't know Chimera just went in for her shots, so she was scolding her until Chi Chi just explained it was the annual exam deal. Chimera got a good report and Yang has healed up nicely so all the cats are well now. Fenris is still in the cone of shame, but it's not anything serious so overall my family is doing pretty well. ~Socks, reporting from The Rainbow Bridge.

Caturday Art ~ Bird Watching
The picture of the birds was fuzzy so we did a pencil sketch of it and put a frame around it.
We like to watch the birds outside our window.
Here Mommy adjusted the light to showcase Chimera. It provided an interesting effect.
Not so much for me, but......................
We love the Yin Foil.

Caturday Art
Yin is the subject of this weeks art. Here she looks as if she is growing out of Youngest boy's head. We also used infrared to make the room look more interesting.
When she has her high beams own it's a real challenge to fix the photograph, but it made an interesting bit of art. Infrared again.
Yinny wanted in Mom's lap, that is Mom's jean clad leg she is climbing on. Infrared turns everything interesting colors.
Pencil sketch
A watercolor of Yinny growing out of Youngest Boy's head. Really she is just standing on his back.
And then we colored a few pictures.
This is our favorite we bet you can't guess why?

Mancat Monday with the Girls
Humans have the most odd habit of not using the best part of the present. We are not sure why Daddy wasn't as excited about the neat toy he got as we were. As you can see Yin hogged the toy.
Chimera and I asked her politely to share the toy with us, but she said NO!
She was very stubborn about it.
Not coming out................
No way no how.....................
Chimera said we should stop being polite and use our paws to get her out.
Yin said don't even think about it.
Chimera beat a hasty retreat. I thought about it.
And I used my paw. And that is all I am saying. ~Yang, reporting for Mancat Monday, sorry I had to include my sisters in the post but everybuddy says I am hogging the blog.

Mancat Monday with Socks
Sweet dreams are made of........................... A comfy bed to sleep on.
It's a huge plus if the bedspread matches your eyes and showcases your furs to purrfection.
And a Sweet Sister to share the bed with. ~Socks, reporting for ATCAD

Kittens #AtoZChallenge
Yin (Black Kitten) and her brother Yang are known collectively as the Yoga Kittens. You can read how they were rescued in the post Yin & Yang (National Feral Cat Day).
You would never known that they were born into a feral cat colony. They love our people and Yin loves being inside. She hardly ever goes outside without Mommy.
The chair is one of her favorite places to sit.
She likes to spy on Daddy when he is working outside. And er, well I sort of took the chair away from her. I am of course the cutest kitten.
You can read how I arranged to live here in the post Thankful Thursday. It's a heartwarming Christmas story if I do say so myself.
As you can see I fit right in.
I love to groom, I groom myself and everybody else.
Yin, has lovely silky fur.
Yin and Yang have grown to be rather LARGE.
Yin, is one of the kindest cats we have ever known. She took me under her paw when I first came to live here and helped Mommy take care of me. When I was so little my eyes and ears weren't even open yet she would sit in the chair with me and Mommy and watch Mommy bottle feed me. When I got a little bigger she started bathing me. And when Yang started trying to play with me, she watched him like a hawk to make sure he didn't hurt me. ~Chimera, the cutest kitten ever.
