Fenris and I enjoyed walking on the trails, there were lots of good scents to sniff. We were right by the bayou.
There are several LARGE Live Oak Trees on the property and that is how it got it's name.
Live Oaks grow in such interesting shapes.
Because the trail was very short and Mom and Mrs Tammy are all about getting x number of miles we went to Gulf Island National Seashore and walked there too.
We walked out on the pier. This friendly bird was walking on the pier too.

The live oaks are one of the world's most lovely trees. Lots in Texas where mama grew up.
