Humans seem to spend more time with their noses to the grindstone than using their noses to take in all the good smells. Which is why we pets are smarter than they are.
Oh, but your type of terrier LOVES to rat around and sniff and is curious and yes, if those anthros would sniff more, they would be MUCH happier, but you can lead an anthro to a smell but you can't make him/her sniff!

Oh Tuiren I totally agree that there are lots of wonderful things to sniff on the ground. It is lovely to see your pretty eyes too though.
