Not Tuiren Tuesday (Starring Scylla)

I miss the butterflies. Mommy took these pictures in August.

Yellow Butterflies are so cheerful and this one is very large.

He'll be glad to know that the Sky Flower is safely blooming in the Greenhouse.

I came down here to help Mommy weed, she did a good job cleaning the Cottage Out.

And she started on the flowerbeds and was making progress until she ran into a FIRE ANT bed.

It caused an immediate halt in the weeding and an end to our outside time.

~Scylla, who wishes she could eradicate fire ants.

Scylla, that is a very pretty butterfly, and I hope that we get a whole bunch in our garden this year, since I've planted stuff that may attract them. Sorry to hear about the fire ants...not something we have up here in the Great White North, yet!

The butterfly photos are just amazing. Looks like you were doing the best job at helping mom with the weeds. Good thing you got out of there with those fire ants around. They can be dangerous. Thanks for sharing the lovely photos. Have a great day.

Beautiful butterflies! Makes us remember that it can get warm around these parts...eventually. Fire ants are such a bane...and a pain.
