I thought I would help Mom with the laundry and sit by the food at the same time. That shinny thing next to me is the new dog food canister. It's made by
Simplehuman and Mom loves it. It's stainless steel, latches firmly so I can't get in it and neither can Fenris and has a scoop that attaches to the roof of the can magnetically on the inside. The inside of the can is lined in black plastic and comes out for cleaning and it has wheels so it is easy to move. It keeps the food a lot fresher than the old canister did.
Mom also put shelf paper on the shelves.
And found some teal and gray fabric crates to store things in. That other shiny thing next to the black shoes is the garbage can. Don't worry we eventually get a Simplehuman cat canister. The dogs old plastic canister was actually broke so they got theirs first, we really didn't need one but Mom liked theirs so much she broke down and got us a smaller one for Christmas.
Here Dad is painting the family room, it's all painted now and we even have new flooring.
When I get tired of the noise and the action I head to the Master Bedroom for a snooze.

I don't know why, but our kitties are never interested in the laundry. Hope you didn't get your furs in the fresh paint.

It looks like there's a lot of upgrading going on over there! It is looking very nice. Keeping that food fresh is definitely important, we might have to look at those for our cat Sam's food (the dog gets fresh stuff).
Simple Human seems to be the rage nowadays, their garbage cans are super popular too. Maybe because my Mom is a "simple human" (as in simple minded MOL), maybe she should look into their products. Love, Cody

THat is a cool food storage container. Ours is plastic but we can not open it!
