Freedom Friday (Guest Blogger)

A left the door open.

She left Marvel & Myst door open too, and the food is outside our cages and so is the water.

A got lots of conflicting info on how long we should be caged. Everything from 2 weeks to 3 months. A also says we aren't really feral. She can pet me (O'Malley) and Marvel. And while she can't pet Myst she thinks in time she could.

Marvel really likes A.

He has gotten use to her and Grandpa.

A found out that I used to be an inside/outside cat. So I wasn't feral at all but I do feel betrayed and uprooted. It is taking me time to warm up to A and Grandpa. I am a bit older than Marvel so I am not as open to change as he is. To him this is a big adventure.

We are happy to be out of the cages. At first we only came to eat at nigh when the G's were asleep. But now we go eat during the day while Grandpa is out and about. He doesn't bother us. Sometimes we go up to the house at night and sit on the deck. It's really nice here. A caught a glimpse of Marvel while she was up her feeding us when the G's went out of town. Grandpa sees all of us now and we have settled in nicely. ~O'Malley, reporting for ATCAD with Myst and Marvel

Thankful Thursday (Guest Blogger)

I am getting braver.

I think I will like it here if we ever get out of this cage.

I am thankful to have Marvel with me, but we could really use more space.

Lots more space.

Even though O'Malley has a entire cage to himself he is rather cramped too as he is a very large cat.

We are thankful that Alasandra brings us food and makes sure we have plenty of water.

And I am very thankful she cleans the litter-box. Marvel keeps stinking it up.

Tails on Tuesday (Guest Blogger)

The M cats were introduced Monday, here is the link to the post. Once it got dark we came out of the cat carriers to take advantage of the facilities. The Alasandra creature snuck down to the shed and took pictures of us in the dark.

I just looked at her.

The next day O'Malley was really hungry and came out when the Alasandra creature put food down.

Since nothing awful happened to O'Malley I decided to come out and eat too.

Myst, said she was staying in the carrier until the Alasandra creature left, no matter how good the food smelled.

O'Malley says he thinks these people are nice and that we will just watch them and take our time making up our minds about them.

But I sure do wish they would let us out of these cages. ~Marvel, reporting for ATCAD

The M Cats (Guest Blogger)

Hi my name is Myst short for Mystique and I live at Grandpa's house now. I didn't always though I used to live in a trailer park with a bunch of other cats (this picture was taken there) anyway it got sold the new owners wanted the trailers gone had plans to bulldoze the property and didn't want the cats around. So some nice ladies trapped us and asked people to give us homes. So I came to live at Grandma & Grandpa's along with my litter mate Marvel & a nice older gent O'Malley (he isn't much older than us, just older).

This is O'Malley (the Siamese up front, he has pretty blue eyes) and Marvel. We had to stay in cages when we first came to live here. The food was good.

But I did not like being in a cage. I was very ANGRY and REALLY SCARED.

I was glad Marvel was in the cage with me.

He was very brave he let the Alasandra creature that feed us pet him.

I did NOT let her get near me.

O'Malley let her pet him too.

He is a very gentle cat.

There is a dog that lives here too. She is a collie and her name is Lady O'Meara. She is very nice and doesn't even bark at us. ~Myst, reporting for ATCAD
